Craig Ramsay was born in the small Canadian farming town of Harrow, near the city of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. Craig’s passion for the arts began as a teenager when he was a dance student at the Walkerville Centre for the Creative Arts in Windsor. Craig continued his dance studies at The Banff Centre for the Arts under the care and supervision of Brian Macdonald and Annette Paul. Shortly thereafter Craig attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Professional Division under full scholarship.
As a true “triple threat”, Craig’s professional theatre career began in the famed Canadian production of “Anne of Green Gables - The Musical” at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
He moved on to be an original cast member of the North American pre-Broadway mega hit musical “Mamma Mia” and he appeared in numerous original Broadway productions including “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” where he worked closely with famed choreographer Gillian Lynne.

Craig acted alongside John Hurt, Cynthia Nixon, Denis O’Hare & Swoosie Kurtz in the film “An Englishman in New York”; danced and acted with Carole Burnett & Tracey Ullman in the movie musical “Once Upon a Mattress” and regularly appeared on the daytime soap operas “All My Children” and “General Hospital” as well as guest starring on CBS’s “2 Broke Girls” and “The Graham Norton Show”.
Craig is also an internationally recognized fitness and stretch expert and best selling author.
Craig is an outspoken LGBTQ+ person whose same sex marriage and first year of
married life was shared worldwide in the award winning Bravo TV docu-series
“Newlyweds the First Year.”
Craig divides his time between the United States and Canada raising an 11 year old.
In the summer of 2022, Craig and best friend Catherine Wreford placed first in CTV’s “The Amazing Race Canada”, winning the hearts of Canadians coast to coast with their dancing and singing.

Named one of the Top Five Fitness Instructors in the World by IDEA, Scott is also an AFAA Notable for his charity work with HIV/AIDS patients, and a continuing education provider for AAAI-ISMA for over 30 years. Scott Cole has facilitated and lectured at events in over 30 countries, headlining major conventions, specialty conferences, and Wellness Weekends as a featured presenter. Events include Frostburg State University, Pensacola Naval Hospital, National Take Our Kids to Work Day with John Chambers at Cisco, and his signature Wellness Weekends have been held at Canyon Ranch, The Lodge at Woodloch, Two Bunch Palms, Bacara Resort, Green Gulch Farm and Zen Center, Kripalu, Lake Austin Spa and others.
